Kayak Fishing Ultimate Resource

The experience that Lewis Brownlee and I had at Priest Landing on Skidaway Island really should not be considered a bust. This area of the Wilmington River would be a great area for future IFA Kayak Tours in Savannah, GA when the tides are correct to launch and to get off of the water for the weigh in.

A Day at the Beach

It seems like forever since I joined my friends for some beach tarpon. Last summer I was so sick that I had to back out at the last minute, and then I made the decision that it wouldn’t be a good idea for me to venture out in my condition. But since then, I’ve felt much stronger and after a long day on the water Saturday (I paddled roughly seven miles) I made the call to join the boys on the beach.

Seems just like yesterday that I was down here in Stuart Florida for the DOA Lures Paddlers Only Tournament, I quess that old saying “Time flies when you’re having fun” really is true. Once again I find myself with my kayak fishing buddy Norm Hall and we set out with high hopes of finding some respectable fish.

Wilbur and the Redfish

It’s been some time since I have had a chance to write anything, much less do any fishing, between work and life I just haven’t had the time. If you don’t read the forum, you might not have heard that my wife had a massive heart attack back in October. I’m happy to report that she is doing much better and her recovery looks good. Perhaps one day I will share the whole story, but not today. Today I want to tell you about Wilbur and the Redfish.
