St. Croix Announces Return of Customer Appreciation Day

According to estimates from the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) and the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), anglers continued to enjoy their hobby throughout last year's pandemic that put a lot of other activities on hold.

In fact, an additional eight to ten million new and reactivated anglers also got back into the swing of things. St. Croix has decided that this was reason enough for celebration and announced the return of their Customer Appreciation Day.

St. Croix Vice President of Marketing, Jesse Simpkins, stated that St. Croix has been celebrating anglers for 74 years by putting them at the heart of everything they do. He added that Customer Appreciation Day is an outward example of that celebration and that it provides a full slate of fun and exciting opportunities for anglers at the factory in Park Falls.

Due to COVID-19, St. Croix was forced to go virtual with the event last year but announced that they would be returning to an in-person event for this year. It is scheduled to occur on June 19, but anglers who are not able or willing to travel will not be left out in the cold either. Thanks to everything they learned from the virtual event last year, St. Croix will also be including some excellent and innovative virtual participation options this year.

Some of the Customer Appreciation Day highlights include prize drawings every hour on the hour along with live music, free food, and ample educational opportunities with St. Croix staff. There will, of course, also be plenty of special deals on all things St. Croix, from rods to apparel and more. St. Croix is also taking heed of the recent expansion of the angling community and plan on delivering an expanded focus on angler education during the event. Not only do they have a full schedule of fishing seminars from top St. Croix pros planned, but all of these sessions will also be live-streamed for virtual participation.

St. Croix will reveal more details about the in-person and virtual components of the event closer to the scheduled date of June 19, 2021. What is known is that live music will be provided by Joe Bucher and the TopRaiders, as well as UMGN Mercury Nashville recording artist Travis Denning.
