Jackson Kayak Transducer Install

Some folks say that Jackson Kayak has thought of everything. It’s the little details such as the scuppers found on Jackson boats that help solidify that claim. The underside of the kayak boasts some large openings that serve a couple purposes besides draining water from the deck. Their large size makes great hand holds if you’re car-topping on top of an SUV. They’re also the perfect home for your fish finder transducer.

New Lowrance Sonar Targets Kayak Fishermen

There's no doubt that the Kayak Fishing scene is growing.  Now Lowrance is engraining deeper into the sport with their newest offerings - the Elite-4 series of fish finders.  Lowrance is marketting these new sonar and chartplotter units as "Perfect for Kayaks."  Its time to take a closer look at these new units.

Lowrance takes a huge leap forward in the kayak fishing industry making use of the Tallon Socket System and universal scupper mount. Its made for skimmer and HDS transducers, and, we honesty, don't see why the setup wouldn't work for other manufacturers.The Lowrance Tallon combination make for an ultra slick and easy to remove fish finder install.
