2015 AFWC Qualifiers Announced

Kayak anglers who wish to participate in the 2015 Adventure Fishing World Championship (AFWC) will now have to qualify at one of five AFWC Regional events. The regional qualifiers have been spread across the country to give anglers the opportunity to participate and hopefully place in a tournament.

Kayak Fishing ClassicS Palma Sola Results

Spring must be right around the corner because the kayak fishing bite was on in Palma Sola, FL on tournament day. In the second Kayak Fishing ClassicS tournament of 2014, the Palma Sola Classic, all but one angler caught fish. That is pretty darn good fishing when the pre-fishing period looked bleak.

My take on the TKAA Tournament 2013

First off, it was phenomenal social event within the Kayak Angling community. With 270 registered anglers this is the 3rd largest Kayak Tournament in the country.

Results Kayak Fishing ClassicS Series

On November 3, 2012, the Kayak Fishing ClassicS saltwater kayak fishing tournament series crowned a new champion in Tampa Bay, FL. The ClassicS held the invitational National Championship Classic (NCC), hosted by Whiskey Joe’s. The NCC followed the Series Championship, which is the culmination of ten open tournaments held along the Gulf Coast throughout the series year.

Elkhorn Creek Kayak Fishing Series Results 9/8/12

On Saturday, September 8, yak anglers came out in strong numbers to fish the last regular-season Saturday in the Canoe KY ECKFS. The cooler temperatures of late have been ideal for fishing, and with a high of 78 degrees this day was no exception. The clouds and chances of rain did not deter the faithful, nor did they turn into much of a problem as the day progressed.
