Kayak fishing doesn't have to be an expensive hobby, but it can quickly become one if you are not careful.
There's always going to be a better rod, paddle, cooler, or any of the other myriad of gear and goodies out there if you look for them. There's also no shortage of other fishing related gizmo’s to waste your money on if you really want. However, if you want to own the most exclusive pike lure in the world, then looking no further than the collaboration between Triss, CWC, and Miuras Lures.
Fishing from pike is already a very exciting activity as they tend to put up much more of a fight than many other fish. With the Miuras Guldkant, you can add an extra layer of excitement to pike fishing by putting a lure with authentic gold on it at the end of your line. Svenska Spel, the Swedish state-owned gambling operator is known for its collaborations to promote its popular "Triss" scratch tickets. Last year Triss teamed up with IKEA for a kitchen made out of gold, but this year they turned their attention to angling.
Triss tasked Stefan "Trumman" Trumstedt, a pike fishing legend in Sweden, to co-create the world's most exclusive pike lure and he immediately decided that it should be a Miuras Mouse, but with a golden edge. The Miuras Mouse was created by Maurizio "Miura" Carini, an Italian who is one of the world's foremost bait builders. The result of this collaboration is a limited golden edition of the pike bait Miuras Mouse. According to Carini the material and color scheme was inspired by nature's own golden shimmer. Not just anyone will be able to get their hands on a Miuras Guldkant either as only 20 numbered copies are available. One thing is for sure, with the ground leaf and thread of pure gold used in the creation of this lure, it is not going to be something you just leave lying around in your tackle box.
Check out the video about the collaboration below and let us know what your ultimate lure would look like if money was not an issue.
