Good fishing outside Cambria this week. The kelp is beginning to show up on the surface in decent sized clumps. If conditions are just right they can grow an incredible 2' a day.

This group is for people on the central coast of California. Ranging from Monterey to Santa Barbara. Find a friend, hook up and get slimed! Freshwater or salt, it doesn't matter!
It looks like this weeked (6/11 6/12) is going to be pretty windy. Forecasts are saying 7-15 knots with 1-3' wind waves. I'll be paddling out from a sheltered cove north of Cayucos or one north of Cambria. The kelp beds are still low due to the lack of heat this summer, but the fishing is plenty hot!
