I'm planning on a trip to Panama City sometime between the 1st of June and the 10th of July. PC is the best place I know to kayak fish for Red Snapper right off the beach!
Shark bitten Ya buddy there's a great video on floridasportsman.com yak forum with a lady killin it. Think she's on hobies pro team. My father in law lives in PCB and just bought a house on the water now I can't wait to go up and ignore them while fishing. The ride from Port Charlotte blows, but it's a beautiful place and great fishing. Soon as my brother inlaw gets back from Afganistan we'll drive up. Treehugger it I may be up there at the same time. I'll keep you posted. Maybe we can hook up.14 days ago
Would anyone be interested in trying to pick out a few days over the summer to fish some different spots in Florida? Maybe we could set up 2 or 3 get- ...
Trout, Trout, and more Trout Saturday in Sisters Creek. Not one Redfish all day. Caught a total of about 8-10 trout and had at least 5 others spit the kook before I landed them. All caught on Chicken on a Chain paddle tails, New Penny Gulp Jerkshads, and Slayer weedless hooks or Jigheads.
Fished Browns Creek on Saturday. Very windy and very choppy most of the day. Got soaked by the wake of a boat. Saw a few other kayakers that had no luck that day. It was my first time out to Browns, so that didn't give me a whole lot of confidence. Ended the day with 1 dink trout. Fished the low tide, and made lots of notes of areas I will hit up next time out.

Clapboard has produced big reds for me this year, so I'm really starting to like it.
Started fishing Simpsons a lot, and the bite has been on lately...trout, reds, black drum...the fish are feeding
