I'll be going out on Sunday 6th. I'll launch from the little beach area east of the South Bridge (SeaWall), in Fort Pierce. I am planning on being on the water by 7:00 am. It is going to be my first time on my Redfish 14. Hopefully I'll have some pics for the group/site. This bulletin also serves as an invitation to all. God knows I could use some people with experience in kayak fishing.

I'm thinking June....after the 10th!

I don't know about the "best" but if you looked in my tackle bag the first thing you will see is lots of Soft Plastics. I use stuff from D.O.A, Gulp, Exude, and Blurp in the jerk bait, paddle tail, crab, and shrimp patterns. As for colors I like normal colors like Rootbeer and Gold Flake, New Penny, Golden Bream, Pearl White and Natural. I rig these on 1/16oz to 1/8oz Mission Fishin Jig Heads or 3/0 to 5/0 Mission Fishin Weedless Jerk Bait Hooks. As for Hard baits I don't use them but I have friends that due the gold spoon is always a good choice. I like Top Water Plugs like the Skitter Walk, Zara Spook, Spit'n image, and the Bongo Minnow from Sebile. Again the colors I fish are Mullet, Sea Trout, Pearl white, and Blue and Silver with that said I only use them in the early hours of the day and just before dark. I also like to use Subsurface baits like the Twitch n rap, Mirr o den, and the Stick shad same colors apply but I add Pinfish and anything with a Orange belly. I hope this helps. chuck 05 Jun 2010, 04:49 AM redfish chuck Delete message
