LIZELLA, Ga. - Two of the fastest-growing inshore fishing tournaments will stage their 2011 championship events in one of the world's most fabled fisheries when the IFA Redfish Tour Presented by Cabela's and the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour Presented by Hobie Fishing arrive in Chalmette, La., this November.

The 2011 IFA Redfish Tour Championship will run November 4-5 (Friday and Saturday), with a pre-tournament captains meeting on Thursday, November 3. One week later, competitors in the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour Championship will begin their championship weekend with a captains meeting on Thursday, November 10, with competition to take place November 11-12. Both championship events will operate out of Gulf Outlet Marina located at Marina Hotel in Chalmette.

"We welcome the 2011 IFA Redfish Tournament and are honored to host the championship this year in Chalmette, Louisiana," said Craig P. Taffaro Jr., president of St. Bernard Parish. "We can promise the anglers a great experience and some of the best fishing in the world in the waters around St. Bernard Parish - fondly known as the Redfish Capital of Louisiana."
