The beginning of August marked the final regular season event for the Florida East Division of the IFA Redfish Tour presented by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's.
The winning anglers were Danny Sheldon, of Steinhatchee Florida, and Kyle Craven, of Macclenny Florida. The two took first prize thanks to a two-fish limit that totaled 14.64 pounds.

Sheldon praised his partner for doing all the pre-fishing, which resulted in the duo catching fish at every spot except for one. According to Sheldon, it was one of his best days of fishing that he had ever done in the area. He went on to state that a good teammate is the key to a win. Sheldon and Craven fished just north of Sisters Creek in the ICW where they blind-cased Berkley Gulp! on spinner baits. They also sight-fished Berkley Gulp! shrimp once the water got out of the grass. Their 7.59-pound redfish was the heaviest of the day and enough to net them the $500 Berkley Big Redfish award as well as $250 in credit for the Berkley website. The team also walked away with a fully rigged Ranger RB190 boat prize package. Their total winnings, along with $2,100 in Anglers Advantage cash was a very respectable $30,100.

Matt Davis and Nathan Morgan, who both hail from Jacksonville, Florida was the second-place finishers in the event and weighed a total of 14.29 pounds. Third place went to Joe Wortham of Oak Hill, Florida, and Preston Pineiro.

The IFA Redfish Tour is making its next stop at Beaufort, South Carolina, and will take place on August 22, 2020. Any teams that compete in at least two regular-season events will be qualified for the 2020 IFA Redfish Tour Championship.
