Saturday, the 14th of April is also when competitors will be able to register for the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour Presented by Hobie Fishing at Hopedale Marina. The registration period is from six to seven pm. and is followed by the captains meeting where the check-in times for the weigh-in the following day will also be announced. Both these IFA Tours are continuing to draw inshore anglers all the way from Texas to the Carolinas thanks to budget-friendly entry fees as well as the inclusion of five different divisions. Each of these divisions also has a two-event regular season. This means that anglers not only have opportunities to compete close to home, but they can also keep their expenses to a minimum.
Of course, the other incentive is the great prizes on offer, and we are not just talking about the nearly 200 percent payback. The first place prize for every regular-season IFA Redfish Tour event is valued at $26,70 and consists of a fully rigged RB190 Ranger boat prize package that is powered by a 90 horsepower, 4-stroke Mercury outboard. In addition, each of the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour events feature a guaranteed $1,000 cash prize for the winning angler, along with a Power-Pole Micro Anchor/Spike, which is valued at $694.95.
