Are you tired of the same old thing when it comes to kayak fishing tournaments? If so, the upcoming Central Kentucky Canoe/Kayak Bass Tournament on October 3 is for you. This event is for any human-powered watercraft and will be a road runner event.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support 2nd Chance Outreach, a drug rehabilitation program with eleven facilities, headquartered in Campbellsville, KY. We will begin and end the tournament at the facility on Columbia Highway in Campbellsville. Payout will be determined by participation, and will be a portion of the proceeds.

The road runner format means that you can fish any body of water you wish. You will need to check in at the beginning and end of the event at the headquarters tent at 2nd Chance Outreach. The CPR (Catch-Photo-Release) tournament runs from 6am-1pm.

For more information, please visit the tournament Facebook page at KY Kayak Bass Tournament. You can also visit the event host, Longhunter Outfitters, at their page.
