We were able to raise $1,000 for our local chapter of Heroes on the water. While the fish weren't exactly cooperative, there were some decent numbers at the top of the leaderboard in the bass division.
- Cody Slavens 43 ½”
- Dan Sutton 40 ½”
- Keenan Chamberlain 36"
- Tom Moore 25 ¾”
- Jesse Wade 17 ½”
- Mark Scott 14 ¾”
Jesse Wade also took home $135 as the winner of the big bass pot. It only took two species to take home the prize in the "most species" division, and Bob Deitch went home as the winner. Did we mention the fish weren't very cooperative?
We would like to thank all the participants and volunteers for coming out to support our local chapter of Heroes on the Water, and give a huge thank you to our sponsors who provided a ton of great prizes for us to give away. It would not be possible to organize an event like this without these folks: Sailboats, Inc.: Fun Runners, Hobie, South Bend, Yak Gear, Temple Fork Outfitters, YakAttack, G&G Bait Company, Schwartz Bait and Tackle, HOOK1, and YakAngler.
