The second annual Susquehanna Slamma Kayak Fishing Tournament will be held on July 27, 2014 in Shickshinny, PA. The event, directed by the Suskie Bassmasters and the Pennsylvania Kayak Fishing Association, will incorporate simultaneous kayak and powerboat divisions on the North Branch of the Susquehanna River.

The targeted species are largemouth and smallmouth bass. If there is interest, a musky division may be established. The kayak division is a catch-photo-release format. The Susquehanna Slamma is the premiere kayak fishing event in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and receives print and television coverage from throughout the region. The Pennsylvania Kayak Fishing Association is a division of the Suskie Bassmasters, a 501c3 non-profit, based in northeast Pennsylvania.
