Kayak Wars '09 proved to be a substantial milestone in Kayak Wars history. 246 anglers, 57 teams and over 3000 submissions are just the tip of the iceberg for this competition. From its humble beginnings Kayak Wars has now grown into the biggest online kayak fishing competition in the Nation. 2010 is set to exceed these numbers and the competition is just getting warmed up. Bigger and Better prizes are just a few of the additions.

Kayak Wars is also expanding its regions to reach the North East and Western Coast lines of the United States. Prepare to view catches from all over the United States coast lines from multiple destinations. New features such as a unique angler profile panel and image information scripts are just a few of what's new in Kayak Wars 2010. Hobie Fishing has offered some fantastic prizes this year including a brand new Hobie Pro Angler kayak. You can win this and other great prizes by getting a team together and register today. Every registrant has the option to receive a free digital subscription to Kayak Angler Magazine this year! Everyone! In addition, the playing field has been modified with special competitions intertwined into the event throughout the year.

The first competition is the Sunjammers Trout Challenge! Sunjammers Watersports has offered to donate a high quality EuPro fishing rod to the angler that submits the Longest trout between February 1st and March 31st.
