2012 Kayak Fishing Tour

For many of us YakAnglers, this is the time of year when we begin to feed this kayak fishing addiction by attending boat shows, Googling anything related to the sport, and preparing for local and regional tournaments.  I wanted to take a moment to share the upcoming schedule for the IFA Kayak Fishing Tour.

The IFA Kayak Fishing Tour (presented by Hobie Fishing) is one of the largest kayak fishing tournaments in the country.  The twelve-stop regular season tour spans from Texas to Florida, with  stops in Louisiana and Georgia.


2012 Season Schedule
•    February 26: Punta Gorda, FL
•    March 11: Jacksonville, FL
•    March 18: Port St. Joe, FL
•    March 25: Savannah, GA
•    April 15: Port Aransas, TX
•    April 22: Empire, LA
•    May 6: Ruskin, FL
•    June 3: Charleston, SC
•    June 10: Rockport, TX
•    June 17: Delacroix, LA
•    June 24: Panama City, FL

Regional Events:
•    August 26: Titusville, FL
•    September 9: TBA
•    September 16: Port Aransas, TX

    • The towers that clamped to the roof tore off. I'd been using that rack for years. Never had an issue. Until the day I did have an issue.
