Will you be one of the select few kayak anglers to be invited to Kayak Fishing ClassicS national championship?  Enter in the final series kayak fishing tournament in Palmetto Florida, and fish your butt off.  This is your last chance to acquire enough points in the series to earn the invite!  Check out the full details of the last event below.

The Kayak Fishing ClassicS is holding their Series Championship on October 8. The Southern Redfish Classic will be hosted by the Riverhouse Reef & Grill in Palmetto, Florida. The tournament will feature a three redfish slam format and several launch sites in the area.

There is over $9,500.00 in sponsor gear prizes up for grabs including a Diablo Paddlesports Adios Kayak which will go to the series winner. The series consists of ten open tournaments in which the contestants earn points at each event. The top 100 hundred anglers will earn an invite to the invitational National Championship Classic in November where there will be even more goodies up for grabs including another Diablo Adios.

The Southern Redfish Classic is the last open tournament of the 2011 series year and it is not too late for anglers to enter and earn enough points for the national. There are lots of points on the table for the slam and the events are very well run and funded. Just take a look at the ClassicS website to view all of the top notch sponsors that provide prizes to the winners. Anglers do not have to win to earn enough points to receive an invite but registration will close soon. Anglers that register early for the upcoming tournament will receive 50 Bonus Tournament Points as they do for all of the ClassicS events.

The ClassicS has a unique scoring format that assigns points for length slots such as 15 inches to 17 inches equals 30 points and increases in length slots and points as the scale increments, for example. Take a look at the ‘scoring page’ on the ClassicS website to view the scoring for the Southern Redfish Classic. Bonus Tournament Points add onto the angler’s final score so they are important. There are also Bait Bonus Points that are explained on the website.

Everyone is invited to enter the tournament and enjoy the fun and a shot at all of the prizes. The online entry fee is only $40. Please visit the ClassicS at http://www.KayakFishingClassicS.com and get ready for a great time.
