Evan Lyendecker, Director of Marketing Communications at Confluence Outdoor, says the company will be getting out of the kayak industry and heading into a new direction.

In a recent interview, Lyendecker said, “We felt kayakers are looking for something new, a new sport that was a little more extreme. I’ve been pushing for this change for years.” "What is the change?" you might ask. Confluence Outdoor will now turn its attention to building riding saddles for large cats.

Lion Fishing Rig

“Fishing off of large cats - tigers, lions, jaguars, etc. - is the future. The evolution from kayaks to large cats just makes sense, I've been doing it for years” said Lyendecker. Starting next month, Confluence Outdoor plans to release its large cat saddle, the "Feline Fisher". They say this saddle should fit any cat larger than 200 lbs. Stay tuned for more information about this huge move by Confluence Outdoor.
