"I visited this store as I traveled west from Florida this summer and was very impressed. They have what you need. Staff was very willing to spend time talking with me. They had a great selection of kayaks and supplies."

"Sold my Loon 138 because it was getting to be too much for me to manhandle by myself. The 126 is light enough for me to easily load and unload. Paddles effortlessly. Not quite as much room as the 138 so a little less room for fishing equipment"

"Overall this is a top quality spincast reel. Super easy to use and the 5 bearings is nice. Of course you have to get rid of the junk cajun line that comes with it. Like any fishing reel, if you use crap line, you will get crap results. Put some kastking mono on it, casts like a dream. Im actually using this over my bait caster at the moment, just because of the more versatile it is. ..."

"Like the title says, if you can afford these rods do it. The slightest of tap from a sketchy walleye to a Monster Pike on a mission to destroy your drag these rods work for me. "

"Between my son, wife and myself we own 5 of these reels perched on St. Croix rods. Anyone we fish with that use what we have cannot believe the quality for the price. Might be a bit more then the wally world special but worth every dang penny. The rods however are another story lol."

"I have owned 3 kayaks prior to this one: (1) Ascend A-10, (2) Ascend FS128T's. This kayak is superior to the FS128T in every way except internal storage space. If you are planning on camping or going on floats which require large amounts of equipment the FS128T will accommodate your needs better. If you are looking for better stability, better seating, better hull design, the Field & Stream Shadow Caster is the better platform for fishing. Additionally the hull design..."

Yak-Gear Review

I have been impressed with Yak-gear since my first purchase a couple years ago. They have been easy to work with by phone and even sent a few extra things with my order! They are knowledgeable about the sport of kayak fishing and get products out quickly! Their "how to" videos are excellent as well.

Yak Gear Products

I bought a C-Tug Cart. I love the cart, just not the price. Everything went smoothly and expectations were met.

As for selection, I know they are constantly expanding. I wish there were more available products to use with track already installed on kayaks.

Pros:
Good service

Can be a bit pricey
