Great Rod Blank

I built this rod with micro guides and a 2 piece EVA foam handle. I built it with a shorter handle as not to interfere while sitting in the kayak with a PFD on. It takes a little time to build a rod and put in the time to do it. It was well worth the expense to get a custom rod. The rod isnt as light as my BPS carbonlite rod, but is more sensitive. I prefer longer rods in a kayak which assists when casting while sitting. The model i got was 7'3" and the length from the reel to the tip is the same as my 7'6" flipping stick.

A great rod and a lot of fun catching a fish on something you have built.
