All Pro Rods

All Pro Rods (APR) are Company that makes their rods in the USA and are known for making some outstanding freshwater Bass rods. I recently took one of the a APR 7’6 medium light with moderate action rods out for a day of inshore fishing I used a H&H Popping Cork and a voodoo shrimp with a Shimano Stratic 3000. This rod is designed to be a live bait or popping cork rod so that is what I put it to use doing. Typically I like to use a medium heavy rod for my popping cork but I decided to keep an open mind. This rod is outstanding for absolutely slinging a popping cork a long distance its moderate speed makes it load up and absolutely soar. This rod is one of the best throw the bait out there and let the fish hit it set the hook its self (do not Bill Dance this rod) unless you want to see the bait go air born. The quality and sensitivity are there on this rod even though I do feel the price point of the rod is a little high but remember where it is made. The APR is an outstanding trout rod but might bring some frustration when dealing with upper slot Redfish they can be a little hard to turn with the medium light. Over all if the type of fishing that you are looking into is live bait or popping cork fishing this needs to be one of the rods that needs to be looked at.
