Daiwa SS 1300

After reading on a forum about these reels lasting forever, I decided to pick one up. The SS Tournament reel has been around for 15-20 years, has a great history, and is still a great reel compared to the new reels that are available today. I chose the 1300 model because of it being a M/L action reel, though still had a 15lb drag rating. Whether you are fishing for pan fish or nice chunky Brown Trout, this reel will do the job. I quickly purchased a 2nd one, and use it for jigging Walleye on the Detroit River in the Spring.

Only reason I didn't give it top marks for value is that I feel a reel this old should be priced below $100.00, though I have seen them priced at $90.00 on Amazon.
