Review: YakAttack Mounting Accessories

YakAttack makes a full line of products that give you options on how you rig your kayak from day to day. I was given the YakAttack “Mighty Mount” to review, and it is now an essential part of my kayak angling arsenal.

The Mighty Mount is a solution that makes it easy to mount whatever accessory you want, wherever you want. The mount was designed to be used with the Wilderness Systems “SlideTrax™ Accessory System” and other compatible tracks. It works well with other YakAttack accessories like the “VISICarbon Pro”, “PanFish” camera mount, and the ”Screwball”. With its small profile (it’s about the size of a credit card) and absolute ease of installation, the Mighty Mount is a lot of fun to customize.

I mounted mine behind me on my left side, next to my flush-mount rod holder. This is perfect, because I can add the Screwball and a RAM rod holder. This gives me easier access to my rod when trolling. Most of the time I use the Mighty Mount with my PanFish camera mounting system, giving me an excellent “over-the-shoulder” shot with the camera out of the way. Versatility and solid construction make the YakAttack “Mighty Mount” a need-to-have piece of equipment for any yakangler.
