Vibe Maverick 120

Paddle Board Make & Model

Brand:
Vibe
Model:
Maverick 120
MSRP ($):
899

The Maverick 120 from Vibe Kayaks is a hybrid kayak that is available in an attractive angler package. It is 12' in length, with a width of 33.5" and a weight of 72 pounds. It is constructed from rotomolded single piece high density polyethylene for the exterior and sink proof pressure injected foam for the interior, allowing it to handle up to 72 pounds, which is enough for one or two people.

To ensure that anglers get the stability, maneuverability and comfort that is required for the hobby, Vibe has created the Maverick 120 with a no-flex, open deck. It is a lot lighter and easier to carry in and out of the water compared to traditional fishing kayaks, but they haven't skimped on features either. The Vibe Maverick 120 comes with front and rear bungee tie-down systems for your gear as well as multiple paddle parks. It also allows you to customize all your gear to your liking with the five included gear tracks. In addition, the Maverick 120 has a 8" sealed hatch, but bear in mind that it is not waterproof, so take care what you put in it.

Compared to other kayak, the open deck on this hybrid offers plenty of room, while you also get a high vantage whether you stand or kit it out with one of the optional chairs that are available to purchase separately. Even without a chair the grip deck padding of the Maverick 120 makes it very comfortable to use. It has enough space to strap down a cooler as well if you prefer using one as a seat. The Maverick 120 is available in a number of color options, so you can choose one as colorful as you want.

The Maverick 120 is the first fishing stand up paddle board from Vibe Kayaks and it is clear that they have put the same quality and attention to detail in it as their kayak range. It is an affordable and versatile SUP that is ideal for anglers who don't have the space or budget for a full fledged fishing kayak.
