Paddle Board Make & Model

Brand:
YOLO
Model:
Kingfish
MSRP ($):
1585

The YOLO Kingfish, which is also known as the Sherpa, is another all-round board that can be used for a variety of purposes, including fishing. Its best feature is the excellent stability that it offers, but it isn’t lacking in space for cargo or attachments either. Thanks to its V-shaped hull, the Kingfish is able to offer a quiet and stable ride to ensure that you don’t scare away the fish that you are stalking. While it obviously doesn’t have any impact on its performance, the impressive visual design of the Kingfish is also a definite plus when it comes to style.

Carrying the Kingfish is easy as it features a special LiftSUP handle, which also provides the board with a secure lock point in the event that you have to leave it unattended somewhere. This is useful as the Kingfish is lightweight enough to be transported by a single person despite having an impressive 320 lb weight limit. The board is cooler ready, so you can easily strap one on for storage purposes or to use as a seat while out on the water. It also has a GoPro mount on the front, so you can capture your best catches. In addition, the Kingfish 12’ has dual cargo straps for securing your gear to the board. Thanks to a host of fishing accessory mounts you’ll be able to hit the water fully equipped and ready for anything. The stability of the board means that the odds of falling off is very slim, but in the even that anything unforeseen happens the Kingfish does have a leash plug, so you can attach a leash to it to prevent it from drifting away if you wipeout. Finally, the three-fin setup of this board enhances its turning abilities, which is always useful when fishing. Although the Kingfish 12’ is one of the more expensive offerings from YOLO, it is worth the extra cash if you want paddleboard with plenty of space and excellent stability.
