Great Trout Fishing Made Easy

Trout Fishing Made easy !!!

I love the whole Sportsman's Best series. They are well written by people that live what they write about. There are sections on Sea Trout biology and migration patterns, food they eat, Sea Trout history, etc. Included is a history of the movement to take Sea Trout from a commercial to a sport fish.

There are also type of water specific sections on fishing Intracoastal, tidal creeks, tidal rivers, offshore, etc. There are sections on fishing Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Each section addresses the unique and special techniques for each state. There is an expanded section on the Texas wade fishing method using bait casting rods. I found this section useful in fishing for Sea Trout in Florida.

There is also a large section on the gear used to fish for Sea Trout based on size, technique, baits, lures, lines, areas, etc. It covers fly rods, spinning and bait casting set-ups. This book has it all.

There is a section on the boats, kayaks used and how to rig them for success.

Now if that isn't enough they include a DVD that covers and expands on what is in the book. I've been fishing for over 50 years and found lots of information that I didn't know but can apply to my everyday trips.

I rate this book and DVD combo a strong 5 out of 5 !!!
