Tommyhead jigs constantly lays at a 45° angle while the others do not. This was very exciting because, as you know, all bait fish feed at a 45° angle and the posture of crawfish on the defensive is also a 45° angle.

Tommyhead Jigs

Tommyhead Jigs are a great option for saltwater fishing with soft plastics. They hold the bait well and work great for swim-bait presentations. I use Slayer Inc. baits 99% of the time and they pair well with this jig. I recommend these as an option to anyone who throws jigs. These are my #2 go to jigs right behind the Slayer jigs. Great product and a great company.

Yep, best jig heads EVER!

Having heard a lot of great feedback from friends concerning Tommyhead Jigs, and wanting to fish more with plastics, I ordered a couple bags of Tommy's standard jig heads. I love putting a Slayer Inc. SST on a Tommyhead Jig and fishing for bass (both smallmouth and largemouth), pike and walleye. I'm always casting this set up into thick brush and vegetation with no problems, but this last weekend I really put the Tommyhead Jigs to the test. A few of us fished right below a small, cement dam for walleye. The fish seemed to be hugging the dam so I was bouncing my jig set up off of the cement all day long. It wasn't until the last few hours of the day that the jig head I had been using all day long finally started to show some wear and tear, as the paint was finally starting to chip from the jig. While the paint was chipping a bit, the hook was still good and sharp, so no worries there. Tommy makes an AWESOME product and for the price, you can't go wrong!

Best jigs around!

I bought some Tommyhead jigs at the 2013 October boondoggle. I fished the first day with my normal jigs and did not have any hookups. The 2nd day when I started using the Tommyhead jigs I caught around 20 fish. Because of the way the jigs lay down I was having more hook ups in the roof of the fish. Also, the jigs have a edge to help keep baits in place longer. Tommyhead jigs are the only ones I use!
