Pros & Cons

Northern Lure for Southern Fish

I discovered these while living on Long Island Sound. They are absolutely deadly on the Fall run Stripers and Bluefish. Gags grabbers is a small New England company so many of their lures are for Northern species. i have found that Southern fish like them as well.

These are very life like and have a two rattle system, an up and down rattle for when the lure is jigged and also smaller rattles to create a swimming rattle causing a vibration that trigger strikes.

One day I caught 93 Stripers using the same lure. Many were over 40" The lures are tough and almost is of extras.mune to damage. I liked them so much I bought lots of extras. Since moving back south to Florida I have caught Redfih and Trout on them. A fast retrieve seems to work best. A friend also tried them on Kingfish and had good luck as well.
