The first ultra-premium hard shrimp lure, with hyper-realistic 3D details and quivering arms. The Yo-Zuri "Crystal 3D Shrimp" sinks slowly—work it as a jerk-bait, then allow it to sink to the bottom for best results. Great in fresh and saltwater kayak fishing applications as a crustacean imitator.

YoZuri Crystal 3D Shrimp

I purchased a few of these lures when my local Dicks had them on sale. I use many different kinds of YoZuri lures, so I figured why not. Out of the package, the lure looks awesome. It is hard plastic with the softer "arms" up front. It sinks ever so slowly and the arms do give it an enticing wiggle going down. For me I Have found working it like a jig works best...let it sink to the bottom then give it a couple twitches and let it fall back down. Most of my bites are on the fall (either original fall or after twitching it). Some times if they are aggressively feeding, it may get whacked while twitching it. Either way, when they hit it they hit it hard. It is almost impossible to not hook up with every bite.

If you can not shake at the thought of buying this lure at retail, I think you will find it to be a fine producing lure to add to your inshore arsenal.

Is It Shrimp or Memorex

I have many Yo-Zuri lures and have learned they are well made, tough and most important fool fish. When I saw this little duded I had to have it. It just looks so real. When testing it I was impressed with the slow sink rate and how it swims. This lure can stay in the fish zone a long time depending on how it is fished. OK, enough of this, does it catch fish? YES !!!

I have caught Sea Trout, Flounder, Redfish, Bluefish, Cravalle, etc. I tried for a Tarpon but no luck. The only down side is that it has no scent. I have tried it with Pro-Cure Super Gels Shrimp flavor and did seem to get more action. This is not to say the lure doesn't work without scent it does. I just think that scent helps its natural look and motion incite a bite a little better.

I have caught a lot of toothy fish and the lure is still in excellent shape for the amount of use it has had. I recommend taking a look at this lure and see what it can do for you.
