Pros & Cons

CC Minnow produces big bass!

The “fluke” is a common bait among many fisherman across our country. The North Anna Bait Company out of Virginia has created the “CC Minnow” which is now meeting fish nationwide. We came across this bait while browsing my facebook page and noticed that this “fluke” was producing some outstanding results. We ordered a sample pac and found this soft plastic to be a deadly lure while fishing for largemouth bass. We caught several “hawgs” over 20 inches using this bait. The creators of this bait are fishermen themselves and have brutally tested this product in many situations before offering it to the general fishing population. This soft plastic bait can be fished by jigging, dropshotting, drifted, or casted to dense structure. Using a “jerking” action produces bites you won’t believe! Production is fairly new for this product but North Anna Bait gets orders out fast and can customize any order. The CC Minnow can be molded in many colors. Scents include Shad, Anise, and Garlic and heavy salt is added to each bag. It has a split belly that provides for easy hook placement. A 4/0 wide gap hook fits it perfectly and to get the bait down in deeper water we like to use a small split shot weight placed just above the hook. The weight can also be placed 12 to 18 inches above the hook as well when fishing deeper weed beds. I’m sure other weighted hook styles would work as well. At almost 5 inches long this bait will attract big fish!
