Kayak fishermen love tight cover and the Joe Bucher "SlopMaster" allows them to target those species hanging tight to all types of cover. The wire arm shape, flat horizontal hydroplaning head and up-riding hook make the SlopMaster the perfect spinner bait for slipping through tough obstacles with no hangups.

My secret weapon

This 6" spinnerbait in black/nickel is responsible for me catching dozens of pike (one 40 incher) and one huge 21" largemouth this season. I've had some musky follow it in to the yak but haven't hooked any yet. I almost cried when a pike mangled my leader causing me to lose my $15 slopmaster. I bought another and same results. If I want to catch pike this is what I reach for first. The downside is it's a big bait with lots of drag so you're going to want medium heavy or heavy equipment. I love all the teeth marks left on mine.
