Anglers who own a high-end sonar/GPS display might find the Multi-Vu Pro system by Outdoors Insight, Inc very useful.
By connecting this system to your sonar-GPS, it provides you with live underwater action. Their most recent product is the Multi-Vu HD Pro, which is a turnkey sonar- or TV-to-camera adapter system for turning your LCD into a live underwater viewer.

The system has already proven to be a hit with professional anglers, such as Bruce Sampson, who is enthusiastic about being able to view sonar signals side-by-side with real-time underwater video. According to Sampson, using this system makes it easy for him to confirm fish species as well as the true-to-life appearance and layout of structures.

The Multi-Vu Pro System package contains a high-definition Aqua-Vu XD underwater camera with 75-feet of cable as well as a Camera-Cable Shuttle and Control Module. The system, which has a MSRP of $699, is compatible with both analog (RCA) as well as digital HD (HDMI) video. The package also includes a 12-volt power cable, which allows it to be connected to an auxiliary power source, such as an on-board battery for example.

The power can be switched on or off and the IR light intensity of the camera optics can be adjusted from the Camera Control Module. The optional HDMI Video or RCA Video cords also feature IP67 waterproof connections. Mark Lassagne is another firm believer in the Multi-Vu Pro system as he uses it as a tool for tournament prefishing. According to Mark, he can quickly drop the Aqua-Vu to see if it is a bass, as opposed to a carp or other species when his sonar marks a fish. The Aqua-Vu also makes it easy to uncover any fish that are hiding in heavy brush or grass, which is something that is not so easy to do with just sonar.

The patent-pending Aqua-Vu XD camera is fully sealed and can function in either fresh or saltwater. There are also a number of XD accessories that are available separately that can be connected to the camera's Quick Attachment Slide Rail for more underwater perspective options. Outdoors Insight, Inc has stated that the new Aqua-Vu is perfect for either sonar displays that are mounted in your boat or even a television inside a wheeled ice-fishing shelter.
