The kayak in the video is apparently a prototype of the Flint, but it has been paddled and people have been loving it. At 11.5 inches, the Flint is a smaller boat - fast, maneuverable and at 34 inches wide quite stable. The kayak provides ample crate space at the back with a built-in freedom track. It features 4 flush mount rod tubes, so you don't have to worry about rods and lines crossing while in use. NuCanoe has also added a lot more scupper holes for superior drainage - you won't get your feet wet in this kayak. The seat is comfortable, adjustable and can slide forward and backward. The sturdy carry handles on the side of the boat are also designed to be paddle holders and there is a slide mount in the front of the boat that makes it easy to mount extra gear onto. The kayak has channels on the side for rods with rod tip protection at the front. With an entry level price point at below $1000, this kayak offers quite an impressive package for its price.
