Jeffrey Lizzio, designer of the Ultraskiff 360, the first and only patented portable round boat, showed us exactly what this boat is all about.

As a pond boat and kayak fisherman, the designer was looking to create a small boat that is portable and low maintenance and doesn't come with the "boat ownership" costs and responsibilities. He wanted to recreate the experience you get on a larger boat's deck with a wider view and came up with the idea to create a platform that allows you to sit on it in a casting stool with a higher vantage point while still feeling safe and stable.

The Ultraskiff contains interesting features such as deep, large compartments, rod holders and cleats. The deck has an incline that positions your feet for optimum balance control while also making it easy to remain blanced when you are fighting a fish, leaning over or standing up. You can transport it by rolling it like a wheel, sliding it on its side bumper or using a hand truck as with a kayak. Up to 2 Ultraskiffs can fit in a pickup truck.
