As kayak anglers, you know space is at a premium. That is why the new Bending Branches “Angler Optimus” is so exciting. The Angler Optimus will transform your standard Bending Branches Angler kayak paddle into an all-in-one paddle, push pole, stake-out pole, and canoe paddle system.

We stopped by the Bending Branches booth at Outdoor Retailer 2015 to have Andrew Stern walk us through the Optimus

The Angler Optimus come in several different kits: a Stand-Up kit, 8 ft kit, and 12 ft kit.

Stand-Up kit includes a T-grip handle and 37" fiberglass shaft.

8 ft kit includes a T-grip handle, 37"  and 59" fiberglass shafts, snap-button ferrule, and spike.

Stand-Up kit  includes a T-grip handle, 37", 48", and 59" fiberglass shafts, snap-button ferrule, and spike.

Having one tool to solve a multitude of needs looks to be the new trademark of the Angler Optimus by Bending Branches. These kits will be available to the public on August 17, 2015.
