I actually came across these shoes on Josh Holmes site yakass.net.  I found them so interesting that I knew I needed to share them with the YakAngler Nation.  Based on the idea that we are designed to walk, run and play.. barefoot.  FiveFingers are the first performance footwear that doesn’t try to alter your foot’s natural movement, but allow all the benefits of going barefoot with a gecko-like grip and protection from the elements.

FiveFingers were originally created as high performance footwear for yachting. It is quickly becoming the preferred choice of kayakers, canoeists, surfers, boarders, sailors, and flats fisherman who appreciate their grip, performance and control.

The Sprint and KSO have adjustable straps for a secure, comfortable fit needed for more vigorous activities, and the Flow offers a 1.2mm neoprene upper to keep feet warmer in cold, fast-moving water.

SPRINT - This patented FiveFingers design takes a minimalist approach to barefooting. Non-marking Vibram TC1 performance rubber soles protect your feet and provide a sure grip over a variety of terrain. A thin, abrasion-resistant stretch polyamide fabric fits low on the foot for comfort and quick drying.
