I’m excited to announce the soon to be released Catfish by Delta Kayak. These guys have taken the sit on top kayak and tunnel hull, merged them together for a truly superior and stable kayak. The company’s advanced manufacturing techniques allow for the use of high-impact, lightweight plastics, resulting in boats that are as beautiful to behold at as they are to use, true lookers flashing gorgeous, high gloss sheen.

Below are a few stats about the companies latest creation along with a few pictures of this fantastic kayak.

  • Weighs 49lbs
  • 12.5 long and 26.5 wide
  • Has two hatches
  • Rear molded in placement for two scuba tanks
  • See through window in the bow
  • Excellent tracking and rough water ability
  • Longevity much higher than composite or Rotomolded boats due to the superior Solar Kote UV resistance.
  • comes in white or yellow
  • will have a fishing model with fittings installed and another option will be a Torqeedo motor installed for those wishing superior trolling ability.

I personally can’t wait to try this boat out on the water. To find more about this boat please visit: www.deltakayaks.com

    • 303 UV (for plastic) as well. I've owned may sailboats (up to 34 ft) and their gellcoat, plastic and fabric sprays are the way to go.
