The only thing better than getting in your kayak to catch some fish is doing so with brand new gear. You could be one of the three lucky people who will know exactly how this feels, thanks to Bending Branches who are once again generously sponsoring a great giveaway.
Bending Branches is known for their top notch paddles, which is exactly what is up for grabs. The top prize is their Angler Navigator kayak fishing paddle, while the second prize winner will snag themselves the Angler Scout kayak fishing paddle. Finally, the third prize is a nifty Blade Long-Sleeve Pro Tee and Radiant Cap.

1st Prize: Angler Navigator kayak fishing paddle ($300)

The first prize is the hand-crafted Angler Navigator kayak fishing paddle. This paddle is made from rich-looking alder, roasted basswood and basswood, which makes it one of the classiest looking paddles currently on the market in our opinion. It's not just style over substance either as the Navigator features a proven blade design that offers much better flexibility than composite paddles. Each blade is also reinforced with 2 oz. fiberglass to up the durability and every tip is edged with Rockgard protection. This means that even if you are demanding on  your gear, the Navigator won't let you down. It is also downright comfortable to use as the 100% carbon shaft is ultra lightweight. All the other extras that you would expect from a high-end paddle, such as built-in tape measure and 3 hole snap-button ferrule to adjust feather anglers are also present on the Navigator.

2nd Prize: Angler Scout kayak fishing paddle ($100)

The Angler Scout is another classic from the Bending Branches catalog and a firm favorite for many kayak anglers. The highlight of this paddle is the fact that it makes use of sturdy epX Engineered Polymer blades. It also features an ovalized, aluminum shaft, which makes it easy to perfect your strong, tight paddling strokes. In addition, it has a dual tape measure that is built into the shaft, while the blade has a built-in hook-retrieval system. Of course, thanks to a snug-fitting 3 hole snap-button ferrule, you can also adjust the featuring angles between 0 degrees and 60 degrees, L or R.

3rd Prize: Blade Long-Sleeve Pro Tee ($42) & Radiant Cap ($23)

Often kayak anglers will spend hundreds of dollars on gear for their kayak, but overlook their own clothing. This prize will allow you to set off in style and comfort as it features both the Bending Branches Blade Long-Sleeve Pro Tee and Radiant Cap. The shirt is a serious performance long-sleeve with a 90/10 polyster/spandex design. It has mesh side panels and fabric finishes, which gives you advanced protection against both sun and moisture. It is also anti-microbial and extremely comfortable. The Radiant Cap is equally impressive, with a 5-panel, high profile, structured construction and slightly curved bill. It is made with black brushed cotton twill and with mesh, while the front sports a white embroidered logo on the Bending Branches Radiant background.
