You’ll be hard-pressed to find a member of the kayak angling community who doesn’t have strong opinions about their favorite kayak, gear, anglers, magazine, forums, and more. Yes, it’s time once again for the Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards.

Now in its sixth year, the Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards (KACA) participation has grown dramatically from a little over 3,000 overall votes in 2011, to over 16,500 individual IP addresses from twenty-one countries participating in 2015.

The KACA continues the tradition of being the only kayak fishing-specific awards, and is 100% community driven. This year, we've added the "Employer of the Year" category to the program.

As always, the KACA will draw comments because members of the community feel someone or something deserving didn’t make it in. This is your chance to make sure that doesn’t happen! Voting opened Monday, August 15 and will run until September 5. Remember - if you don’t participate, you shouldn’t complain about the results.

Make sure to let your favorite manufacturers, forums, magazines, and anglers know about the start of the 2016 Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards.

More information about the KACA and a link to vote can be found here.
