The kayak fishing community is an extremely passionate group, and nothing whips them into a frenzy better than ranking their beloved kayaks, gear, anglers, magazine, forums, and more. That’s right – it’s time once again for the Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards.

Now in its fifth year, the Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards (KACA) participation has grown dramatically from a little over 3,000 overall votes in 2011 to over 20,000 votes in 2014. The KACA continues the tradition of being the only kayak fishing-specific awards and 100% community driven. On top of the current ten categories, we have decided to add an eleventh - Kayak Angling Photo of the Year. We have seen so many great photos shared across social media that we thought it would be great if some of these talented photographers get some recognition!

As always, the KACA will draw comments because members of the community feel someone or something deserving didn’t make it in. This is your chance to make sure that doesn’t happen. Voting will start Monday, August 17 and run until September 7. Remember - if you don’t participate, you shouldn’t complain about the results.

Make sure to let your favorite manufacturers, forums, magazines, and anglers know about the start of the 2015 Kayak Angler’s Choice Awards.

More information about the KACA can be found [Here].
