YakAttack will be testing the DIY skills of its Facebook Fans! Yes that’s right, YakAttack makers of kayak fishing accessories is holding a contest to see what inventive ways kayak anglers can use their new product dubbed “Sprout”. Winner will get to choose up to $200 in YakAttack kayak fishing accessories! Check out the following release from Luther Cifers owner of YakAttack.

We're looking for some talented DIY folks to try out the first product in our new DIY line we're dubbing "Sprout"! We're going to send out some free kits in exchange for sending us some pics of what you did with it.

We're building a list of names on Facebook. From this list we're going to select 12 folks to send kits to. Those people will build their creations over a period of 30 days. At the end of that we're going to select the best 5 (or more) and put them up (not sure where yet) for people to vote on. The winner will get to choose up to $200 in YakAttack gear!

If you want to get your name in the hat just "Friend" YakAttack on Facebook and "Like" that post. I'll probably let that roll until this weekend before selecting the names.

"Sprout" will be compatible with the Mighty Mount as well as our new surface mount slot rail system. We reviewed the rail system at Outdoor Retailer this past week and you can see more in my interview with Rapid Media TV here:
