Dee's passion for fishing started over 40 years ago while growing up in the Midwest. When most young girls were playing with Barbies and tea sets, she was fishing the fresh waters of Canada, Michigan and Wisconsin for walleye, northern pike, muskey, and bass with her parents. The passion continued after friends introduced her to the east coast of Florida where she tried her hand at salt water fishing. After moving to Melbourne Beach Florida and as her knowledge of the personalities and habitats of the different fish species grew, she decided she wanted to get up close and personal. The best way to do this was to purchase a Native Watercraft kayak, the missing link necessary to approach large fish in stealth mode. Sharing her expertise and abilities with others seemed to be the natural progression in her fishing success story, so Dee began guiding full time in the waters from the Mosquito Lagoon down to Vero Beach. Her favorite fish species to target are Snook, Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout and Flounder using light tackle with live and artificial baits.

    Juan

Juan Veruete has almost 40 years of experience fishing on the waters of Pennsylvania. His specialty is kayak fishing for river smallmouth bass but he is certainly no stranger to largemouth bass fishing. He has spent countless hours in pursuit of both species.

Juan grew up in central Pennsylvania a stones throw from a limestone trout stream and about 1/2 mile from a creek chalk full of smallmouth bass . He spent virtually every day of his long summer vacations fishing and learning the habits of his query. His passion for fishing never weined and continues to this day.

Juan conducts Guided Kayak Fishing Classes on the Juniata River and various other waters of Central Pennsylvania. His classes cover topics such as paddling technique, kayak position, fish behavior, pattern development, and presentation techniques. The water is his classroom and provides "hands on" learning opportunities. A day on the water with Juan is more then a guided fishing trip. It's a learning experience that will help you become a better kayak fisherman.

"Pure Adrenaline Kayak Fishing Charters was started in the early Spring of 2012 when Sam Baker and Jonathan Arias put their fishing and paddling to work chasing Puerto Rico’s back country tarpon and snook. Baker, being a native of Southwest Georgia, grew up fishing the black water rivers for bass, catfish, and bream. As her grew older the Forgotten Coast’s trout and redfish called him out and he caught the saltwater bug. After moving to Puerto Rico to chase big tarpon year round on fly and spinning gear, he turned his skills loose on a kayak, and it was Pure Adrenaline. Hooking 75lb+ tarpon from a kayak was the ultimate fishing thrill. Baker and Arais, a Texas native and excellent spear fisherman, Honed their skills every day. Now they are ready to help others experience the same rush.

Puerto Rico is a great vacation spot. It is sunny and warm year round and fish just hang around all of the time. Our beautiful back water mangroves are located conveniently near accommodations in San Juan. Our full service charter includes everything you need to track down and catch these backwater behemoths. We use top grade equipment that can withstand the beating that these fish can dish out. From fly to spinning gear, we want you to catch your dream fish the way you want to target them. Lures, live bait, fly, we understand that the challenge of the chase and the bragging rights are a huge part of the accomplishment. In addition to backwater fishing for tarpon and snook, let us know what your adventure goals are for Puerto Rico. We want your adventure to happen, and if we can help--we will."

    Target Species: Tarpon and Snook
