Right here Middle Tennessee

BigD,

I've been keeping track of some numbers

Last year we had 41 different anglers fish KBFTN events, we had very few events, and started late in the year.

For the Mike Ernst Charity Event we had 37 Anglers "largest kayak fishing event hosted to date in Tennessee". I think we will beat that this year. I could see 40-50 coming to the Season Opener, or Finale.

So far Chattanooga Bass Yakkers have had 29 different anglers fish in their events.

Come to find out we have a lot of kayak anglers in Tennessee, but like you I wonder how many are on YA?

Jeremy

Im in Sweetwater which is about half way between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Im interested in starting some tournament fishing. Right now I am mostly trout and crappie but enjoy bass fishing some. Do you guys know of any tourneys around the east or should I need to head west? I love this site and have learned a lot here.

Like klmccllg said; Somkey Mountain Kayak Anglers is having their first tournament on Douglas April 5th.

There are four groups in Tennessee 2 in Middle Tennessee, 1 in East Tennessee, and 1 in Southeastern Tennessee.

Chattanooga Bass Yakkers have had two events already this year.
Chattanooga Bass Yakkers
They have 14 events this year

Kayak Bass Fishing TN "this is the series that I own"
Kayak Bass Fishing TN
We have 12 events this year
The Kayak Bass Fishing Season Opener is at Bledsoe Creek State Park April 26th and 27th

Tennessee Kayak Anglers
Tennessee Kayak Angler
They have 5 events scheduled for this year

We have all teamed up to bring a State Championship to Tennessee that to be able to fish you must qualify. Details are forthcoming.

I'm here in Murfreesboro. Don't get to any tourneys though unless they start up the Tuesday evening events this year.
