I'm about the biggest Ice Fishing nut you'll meet but the 40 degree heatwave today in Minnesota has me looking to the rafters of my garage where my 2 Ocean Kayak's hang and itching to get them out somewhere in the near future!

Who is with me? :fishing:

I'm with you, brother!
We're looking at another 60F day here in Ohio tomorrow. But winter is just toying with us.
In the meantime I am slowly getting the gear together and mapping out some trips for when the warm weather comes. Plenty to do.
My worst day on water still beats my best day at work.....

The itch is definitely there. Dreaming of warmer weather. The shack nasties are starting to set in and I have to get out and get some open air time.

It will be here soon, will you all be ready?

yeah, I'm pretty depressed about the short ice season. I missed a few weeks during the start of the season for health problems and now the back end is getting cut short. I still got my clam and auger in the back of the Subaru... We're getting rained on now and it's around 40 degrees. Then we'll get a few inches of slush and then back to the 50's and 60's for next week. My season is done. Time to pack up the ice gear and start getting the kayak and long rods ready. I'm depressed... yet psyched! Bring on the warm weather. :fishing:
