I am looking for access points or ramps along Harrods Creek in Prospect, KY. The only ramp that I know of is at Captains Quarters and it doesn't open until 9:00 or 10:00 which does not work for summer bass fishing. Any help would be appreciated.

Harrods Creek Park has access but it is closed on Saturdays and Sundays for some reason.

Thanks, I checked out the access at Harrods Creek Park. It looks to be a couple hundred yards. I'm not sure that I want to drag my kayak that far.

Oh really? Good to know I haven't gone out there yet.

I paid $50 for a year long pass at Creekside Landing Marina. It's not perfect though. You have to use a wood dock with no sides on it that is built right up to the doors of the Louisville Rowing Club's building. If you are alone, which I am every time, it is a PITA to slide a 95lb kayak down the shoot without it spinning sideways, gouging up the bottom on one of the exposed angle irons, etc...but not many other options except for Captains Quarters as you point out.

I was on Harrods creek again and saw a small ramp at Harrods Landing Yacht Club. Does anyone know if you can pay to
launch a kayak there or buy a yearly pass?

There are barricades in the parking lot with a sign attached that explicitly states No Canoe or Kayak Launching.

I tried calling, this past spring, about a launch pass, left a message and was never called back.

Just found this ... guess it explains the no call back.
