I was finally able to get the new Hobie Pro Angler-14 out on some open water Saturday. It was still pretty cold with the air and water temp around 35. I love the new skeg, and the the new Mirage drive is awesome. My fishing buddy took it for a spin (his first time in a Hobie)and he was amazed at how easy and fast the mirage drive moved the Pro Angler-14 around. We didn't catch a lot of fish, but I managed two Bass and slimed the new kayak up on it's maiden voyage.
