Folks, I new to the forum and just picked up my Big Tuna...so anxious to get in the water and do some fishing! I'm thinking of making a run to Mobile Bay next month and wondered if any of the members have suggestions on where to fish? We'll be staying in our travel trailer, so we just need to have an idea of an area to stay, and where to put in to avoid spending a lot of time and energy paddling. Looking for inlet fishing for some redfish...don't really want to be out in the big water. Any help?

I have only fished the mouth near Fort Morgan. Trout, reds are good. If you go that route, you can also play the tides and it may be right of Jacks as well. There are a few rigs off the mouth that are not too far out.

Five Rivers Delta delta center is where the delta meets the bay and they have some nice facilities. Also as mentioned the end of Fort Morgan has some great fishing too. Let me know when your coming and I'll call my inshore guide buddy and find out where they are.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for not replying earlier...having some issues with user names and passwords but I think I have it figured out now. We're looking at coming down the weekend after Easter, and staying in a campground near Fairhope. I would love to get into some redfish...but trout work too! I'll check in as we get a little closer...and thanks again!

Thanks...I had looked at this park...great location but some of the reviews were a little sketchy. Are you familiar with it and is it a place you recommend?

Next time you come down hit me up. I am in Mobile and can get a group together to show you around the water and hopefully get you on some fish.
