I'm thinking about purchasing a new low profile reel for saltwater use. I basically fish inshore for Redfish, Speckled Trout & Stripers. I am presently using Shimano Calcutta 100 and Cardiff reels.I have read a lot about the Abu Garcia Revo and some others. Would like to get some opinions on how these low profile reels hold up in saltwater as well as their appearance.
My choice Daiwa BG But I am not clear for this product. I don't understand it good or not?
Plz Help.... Or any good recommendation?

Thanks in advance

I use a Daiwa Lexa 300H. It's a great reel for salt water use. It's light and very comfortable in the hand even after all day of casting & jigging. With a drag rating of 22 lbs, it's perfect for those fish you mentioned and it holds up great in the salt.

Reminds me of a Kathy and a Charles bot from earlier. If it smells like a bot and acts like a bot, I call BOT. Maybe, I'm wrong, but I would bet on it.

I don't know if she's a bot or not but I think the reels she's talking about are casting reels so maybe she put this in the wrong forum. Anyway, I think it's a bad thing on her part to have her actual street address on her public profile?
