So I asked Yaksushi if we could get a fly thread sticky going that would remain at the top of the fly forum and He told me to start it up and He would handle it. The intent is that We have a place to post our most recent flies in one location, it makes for easy browsing. I hope We can get lots of particpation, so if you have some flies post them up!
The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.

Nothing special, but I tied a few of these for my work trip. Now, if the river would just drop.

This is one of my favorite bass flies. I usually fish this on the surface in shallow water but I also tie them with bead chain behind the deer hair if I want a little depth.

Nice backdrop Duckmasterlack! I was having lots of trouble posting pics from my tablet last night, but here are my most recent patterns. I get bored and almost never tie the same fly more than twice in a row.

Thanks what material are you using for your bonefish flies. They look like they can take beating. I use craft fur and they only last a few fish if I'm in anything other than a sand bottom.
