Not my own recipe, but the GF and I made them and they turned out pretty darn good!

What you will need:

Cooking spray
3/4 pound mahi mahi or other firm white fish fillets (we could not find mahi so we used redfish)
2 teaspoons fajita seasoning
2 cups presliced green cabbage (about 6 ounces)
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
8 (6-inch) corn tortillas
2 1/2 tablespoons reduced-fat sour cream, divided (optional)(we used the full flavored variety)
1/2 avocado, pitted and diced
Bottled salsa
Lime wedges

What you need to do:

1. Lightly spray grill rack with nonstick cooking spray, and preheat grill.

2. Sprinkle both sides of fish with fajita seasoning, gently pressing into flesh. Grill fish 3-4 minutes on each side or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Flake into pieces with a fork; keep warm.

3. In a small bowl, mix together cabbage, lime juice, salt, and cilantro.

4. Wrap the tortillas in paper towels, and microwave 1 minute on HIGH or until they're warm.

5. Place taco ingredients on the table for assembly. Spread each tortilla with 1 teaspoon of sour cream, if desired, and top with fish, cabbage mixture, and avocado. Serve with salsa and lime wedges on the side.

And then:

Enjoy the awesome fish tacos you just made!

I know this thread is over a year old but I found it while browsing through the recipes section. My son and I are going trout fishing tomorrow. We always keep a few and I was looking for a new way to prepare the fish. This one looked so good that I had to comment on it. We are looking forward to giving it a try. Thanks daiwanut for sharing this!

Will do!

We are working on the baseball fields tomorrow morning then we are heading out to the White River just below Bull Shoals Dam to try our luck with the trout. Reports are pretty good for Rainbows (which is not unusual it is almost always good for bows) but what has us excited is that there have been quite a few big Browns caught there this week.

I'll let you know on Sunday or Monday how the tacos came out!
